In times past, when Sha'ul was king over us, it was you who led out and brought in Yisra'el: and the LORD said to you, You shall be shepherd of my people Yisra'el, and you shall be prince over Yisra'el.


The LORD said to him, I have heard your prayer and your supplication, that you have made before me: I have made this house holy, which you have built, to put my name there forever; and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually.


Then Yeshaiyahu the son of Amotz sent to Chizkiyahu, saying, Thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, Whereas you have prayed to me against Sancheriv king of Ashur, I have heard [you].


It happened, before Yeshaiyahu was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,


because your heart was tender, and you did humble yourself before the LORD, when you heard what I spoke against this place, and against the inhabitants of it, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and have torn your clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard you, says the LORD.


Behold, God is with us at our head, and his Kohanim with the trumpets of alarm to sound an alarm against you. Children of Yisra'el, don't you fight against the LORD, the God of your fathers; for you shall not prosper.


For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Yehudah and Yerushalayim from the high places, and the Asherim, and the engraved images, and the molten images.


He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.


I declared my ways, and you answered me. Teach me your statutes.


Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.


He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.


The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.


*Hear my prayer, LORD, and give ear to my cry. Don't be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were.


You number my wanderings. You put my tears into your bottle. Aren't they in your book?


Then my enemies shall turn back in the day that I call. I know this, that God is for me.


May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.


You who hear prayer, to you all men will come.


Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions.


and he said, *If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his mitzvot, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.*


The LORD said, *I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.


Now, behold, the cry of the children of Yisra'el has come to me. Moreover I have seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.


The LORD will strike Egypt, striking and healing. They will return to the LORD, and he will be entreated by them, and will heal them.


Chizkiyahu also had said, *What is the sign that I will go up to the house of the LORD?*


*Go, and tell Chizkiyahu, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, *I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.


Turn your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.


'I am the God of Avraham, and the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov?' God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.*


But the angel said to him, *Don't be afraid, Zekharyah, because your request has been heard, and your wife, Elisheva, will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Yochanan.


*Two men went up into the temple to pray; one was a Parush, and the other was a tax collector.


Afterward Yeshua found him in the temple, and said to him, *Behold, you are made well. Sin no more, so that nothing worse happens to you.*


See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.


For it became him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many children to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.


for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shepherds them, and leads them to springs of waters of life. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.*


Then Shemu'el took the vial of oil, and poured it on his head, and kissed him, and said, Isn't it that the LORD has anointed you to be prince over his inheritance?


Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man out of the land of Binyamin, and you shall anoint him to be prince over my people Yisra'el; and he shall save my people out of the hand of the Pelishtim: for I have looked on my people, because their cry is come to me.
