After these things the word of the LORD came to Avram in a vision, saying, *Don't be afraid, Avram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.*


Before I was afflicted, I went astray; but now I observe your word.


It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes.


For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.


Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!


You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.


Come, my people, enter into your chambers, and shut your doors behind you. Hide yourself for a little moment, until the indignation is past.


In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you, says the LORD your Redeemer.


For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him.


If the woman isn't defiled, but is clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.


Who is he who condemns? It is Messiah who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.


No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.


But as it is written, *Things which an eye didn't see, and an ear didn't hear, which didn't enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.*


But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.


For I know that this will turn out to my salvation, through your supplication and the supply of the Spirit of Yeshua the Messiah,


so that we ourselves boast about you in the assemblies of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure.


Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay affliction to those who afflict you,


Therefore I endure all things for the chosen ones' sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Messiah Yeshua with eternal glory.


Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.


But the end of all things is near. Therefore be of sound mind, self-controlled, and sober in prayer.


But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Messiah Yeshua, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.


Beloved, now we are children of God, and it is not yet revealed what we will be. But we know that, when he is revealed, we will be like him; for we will see him just as he is.


Now to him who is able to keep them from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,
