The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.


The hand of Midyan prevailed against Yisra'el; and because of Midyan the children of Yisra'el made them the dens which are in the mountains, and the caves, and the strongholds.


When the men of Yisra'el saw that they were in a strait (for the people were distressed), then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in coverts, and in pits.


Likewise all the men of Yisra'el who had hid themselves in the hill country of Efrayim, when they heard that the Pelishtim fled, even they also followed hard after them in the battle.


Then said the princes of the Pelishtim, What [do] these Hebrews [here]? Akhish said to the princes of the Pelishtim, Isn't this David, the servant of Sha'ul the king of Yisra'el, who has been with me these days, or [rather] these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell away [to me] to this day?
