I will make your offspring as the dust of the earth, so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then your seed may also be numbered.


The LORD brought him outside, and said, *Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.* He said to Avram, *So shall your seed be.*


that I will bless you greatly, and I will multiply your seed greatly like the stars of the heavens, and like the sand which is on the seashore. Your seed will possess the gate of his enemies.


You said, 'I will surely do you good, and make your seed as the sand of the sea, which can't be numbered because there are so many.'*


Your servant is in the midst of your people which you have chosen, a great people, that can't be numbered nor counted for multitude.


God gave Shlomo wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and very great understanding, even as the sand that is on the seashore.


My servants shall bring them down from Levanon to the sea; and I will make them into rafts to go by sea to the place that you shall appoint me, and will cause them to be broken up there, and you shall receive them; and you shall accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.


Don't listen to Chizkiyahu: for thus says the king of Ashur, Make your shalom with me, and come out to me; and eat you everyone of his vine, and everyone of his fig tree, and everyone drink the waters of his own cistern;


They were there with David three days, eating and drinking; for their brothers had made preparation for them.

The LORD of Armies will defend them; and they will destroy and overcome with sling stones; and they will drink, and roar as through wine; and they will be filled like bowls, like the corners of the altar.


Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart,


When he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad over all the ground, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Pelishtim, and out of the land of Yehudah.
