The more words, the more vanity, and what is the advantage to man?


For what advantage has the wise man over the fool? And what does the poor man have who knows how to conduct himself before the living?


You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God. What is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the Lord of hosts?


You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.


Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God.
