“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.


and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.


Nevertheless, some good is found in you, for you destroyed the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God.”

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!


You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”


“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;


For my eyes are on all their ways. They are not hidden from me, nor is their iniquity concealed from my eyes.


Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him? declares the Lord. Do I not fill heaven and earth? declares the Lord.


Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’
