And he did evil, for he did not set his heart to seek the Lord.


But the high places were not taken out of Israel. Nevertheless, the heart of Asa was wholly true all his days.


And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, yet not with a whole heart.


Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.


May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.


Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.


Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.


And I will bring you out of the midst of it, and give you into the hands of foreigners, and execute judgments upon you.


Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit!”


For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.


“This day the Lord your God commands you to do these statutes and rules. You shall therefore be careful to do them with all your heart and with all your soul.


And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.
