I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commandment is exceedingly broad.


In that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see.


Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will give attention.


Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped;


Were I to write for him my laws by the ten thousands, they would be regarded as a strange thing.


This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.


And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.


They said to him, “Lord, let our eyes be opened.”


Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”


to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’


For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.


They serve a copy and shadow of the heavenly things. For when Moses was about to erect the tent, he was instructed by God, saying, “See that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain.”


I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.
