For your servant’s sake, O Lord, and according to your own heart, you have done all this greatness, in making known all these great things.


I am your servant; give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies!


And in your steadfast love you will cut off my enemies, and you will destroy all the adversaries of my soul, for I am your servant.


Turn to me and be gracious to me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your maidservant.


The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
