O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep forever such purposes and thoughts in the hearts of your people, and direct their hearts toward you.


And Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced because God had provided for the people, for the thing came about suddenly.


The hand of God was also on Judah to give them one heart to do what the king and the princes commanded by the word of the Lord.

What the wicked dreads will come upon him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted.


The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is acceptable to him.


The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.


Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.
