Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments!


I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.


If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.


I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”


The way of the Lord is a stronghold to the blameless, but destruction to evildoers.


The Righteous One observes the house of the wicked; he throws the wicked down to ruin.


One who wanders from the way of good sense will rest in the assembly of the dead.


Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman and embrace the bosom of an adulteress?


I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live;


You meet him who joyfully works righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned; in our sins we have been a long time, and shall we be saved?
