For this purpose he was hired, that I should be afraid and act in this way and sin, and so they could give me a bad name in order to taunt me.


With his mouth the godless man would destroy his neighbor, but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.


One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.


A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.


Whoever winks his eyes plans dishonest things; he who purses his lips brings evil to pass.


Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways,


You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.
