And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.


Now Abram was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.


that I would not take a thread or a sandal strap or anything that is yours, lest you should say, ‘I have made Abram rich.’


The Lord has greatly blessed my master, and he has become great. He has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male servants and female servants, camels and donkeys.


And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him,


and the man became rich, and gained more and more until he became very wealthy.


And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord, “Have you killed and also taken possession?”’ And you shall say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord: “In the place where dogs licked up the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick your own blood.”’”


Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.


And Amaziah said to the man of God, “But what shall we do about the hundred talents that I have given to the army of Israel?” The man of God answered, “The Lord is able to give you much more than this.”


And Hezekiah had very great riches and honor, and he made for himself treasuries for silver, for gold, for precious stones, for spices, for shields, and for all kinds of costly vessels;


He likewise provided cities for himself, and flocks and herds in abundance, for God had given him very great possessions.


By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish.


It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.


for those blessed by the Lord shall inherit the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off.


The crown of the wise is their wealth, but the folly of fools brings folly.


An inheritance gained hastily in the beginning will not be blessed in the end.


A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.


granting an inheritance to those who love me, and filling their treasuries.


At the end of ten days it was seen that they were better in appearance and fatter in flesh than all the youths who ate the king’s food.


I will send it out, declares the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter the house of the thief, and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. And it shall remain in his house and consume it, both timber and stones.”


And behold, now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, O Lord, have given me.’ And you shall set it down before the Lord your God and worship before the Lord your God.


And the Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground, within the land that the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.


But you, keep yourselves from the things devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted them you take any of the devoted things and make the camp of Israel a thing for destruction and bring trouble upon it.
