For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them, in order to cleanse the land.


After he has become clean, they shall count seven days for him.


This is the law for any case of leprous disease: for an itch,


This is the law for him who has a discharge and for him who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean thereby;


And the Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, No one shall make himself unclean for the dead among his people,


He shall not go in to any dead bodies nor make himself unclean, even for his father or for his mother.


Whoever touches a dead person, the body of anyone who has died, and does not cleanse himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water for impurity was not thrown on him, he shall be unclean. His uncleanness is still on him.


And every open vessel that has no cover fastened on it is unclean.


You shall purify every garment, every article of skin, all work of goats’ hair, and every article of wood.”


“Command the people of Israel that they put out of the camp everyone who is leprous or has a discharge and everyone who is unclean through contact with the dead.


“All the days that he separates himself to the Lord he shall not go near a dead body.


“And if any man dies very suddenly beside him and he defiles his consecrated head, then he shall shave his head on the day of his cleansing; on the seventh day he shall shave it.
