And you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.


Dead flies make the perfumer’s ointment give off a stench; so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.


Those who lavish gold from the purse, and weigh out silver in the scales, hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god; then they fall down and worship!
