not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant that they broke, though I was their husband, declares the Lord.


and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.”


And taking him aside from the crowd privately, he put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting touched his tongue.


And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.”


And he sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”


The tribune took him by the hand, and going aside asked him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”
