And I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.


And they began discussing it among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.”


The baptism of John, from where did it come? From heaven or from man?” And they discussed it among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say to us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’


When the season for fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the tenants to get his fruit.


And he was teaching daily in the temple. The chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people were seeking to destroy him,


Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’


And they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them?


The scribes and the chief priests sought to lay hands on him at that very hour, for they perceived that he had told this parable against them, but they feared the people.


And they discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’


And the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to put him to death, for they feared the people.


this Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men.


and you killed the Author of life, whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.


and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.


but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
