Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.


Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!


They know not, nor do they discern, for he has shut their eyes, so that they cannot see, and their hearts, so that they cannot understand.


Oh that you had paid attention to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea;


“Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near;


But if you will not listen, my soul will weep in secret for your pride; my eyes will weep bitterly and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock has been taken captive.


Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?


And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it,


For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side


and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”


As for the word that he sent to Israel, preaching good news of peace through Jesus Christ (he is Lord of all),


And Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, saying, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you thrust it aside and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.


If they were wise, they would understand this; they would discern their latter end!


Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever!


But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.


As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”


Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice,
