He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed,


Calling ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Engage in business until I come.’


And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’


for I was afraid of you, because you are a severe man. You take what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.’


Even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”


“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?


The man who had died came out, his hands and feet bound with linen strips, and his face wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”


and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus’ head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself.


So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
