He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.


If he tears down, none can rebuild; if he shuts a man in, none can open.


In his tent dwells that which is none of his; sulfur is scattered over his habitation.


But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared.


And the Lord will strike Egypt, striking and healing, and they will return to the Lord, and he will listen to their pleas for mercy and heal them.


Turn to him from whom people have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.


He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil,


Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel! Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines and shall go forth in the dance of the merrymakers.
