Are not my days few? Then cease, and leave me alone, that I may find a little cheer


yet I am not silenced because of the darkness, nor because thick darkness covers my face.


“Why did I not die at birth, come out from the womb and expire?


Or why was I not as a hidden stillborn child, as infants who never see the light?


Let them be like the snail that dissolves into slime, like the stillborn child who never sees the sun.


because he did not kill me in the womb; so my mother would have been my grave, and her womb forever great.
