“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.


For he stands at the right hand of the needy one, to save him from those who condemn his soul to death.


Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart!


And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.


Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.


learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.


they have grown fat and sleek. They know no bounds in deeds of evil; they judge not with justice the cause of the fatherless, to make it prosper, and they do not defend the rights of the needy.


I will scatter them among the nations whom neither they nor their fathers have known, and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.”


but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”


They bend their tongue like a bow; falsehood and not truth has grown strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know me, declares the Lord.


He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?


And they will do these things because they have not known the Father, nor me.


And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.


“I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.


They said to him therefore, “Where is your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”


They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.


“There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.
