He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth.


But rebels and sinners shall be broken together, and those who forsake the Lord shall be consumed.


And the strong shall become tinder, and his work a spark, and both of them shall burn together, with none to quench them.


Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, the sound of your harps; maggots are laid as a bed beneath you, and worms are your covers.


The earth staggers like a drunken man; it sways like a hut; its transgression lies heavy upon it, and it falls, and will not rise again.


O Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people, and be ashamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them.


Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it forever and ever.


Their slain shall be cast out, and the stench of their corpses shall rise; the mountains shall flow with their blood.


“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”


Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them, and the mountains quaked; and their corpses were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger has not turned away, and his hand is stretched out still.


For the moth will eat them up like a garment, and the worm will eat them like wool, but my righteousness will be forever, and my salvation to all generations.”


You shall leave your name to my chosen for a curse, and the Lord God will put you to death, but his servants he will call by another name,


For by fire will the Lord enter into judgment, and by his sword, with all flesh; and those slain by the Lord shall be many.


And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.


And this shall be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples that wage war against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.


His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”


But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
