And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.


The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.


“For does not my house stand so with God? For he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things and secure. For will he not cause to prosper all my help and my desire?


Now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. For you, O Lord God, have spoken, and with your blessing shall the house of your servant be blessed forever.”


O Lord God, do not turn away the face of your anointed one! Remember your steadfast love for David your servant.”


I incline my heart to perform your statutes forever, to the end.


Let my soul live and praise you, and let your rules help me.


Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth!


My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and my covenant will stand firm for him.

“I will make with them a covenant of peace and banish wild beasts from the land, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.


I will make a covenant of peace with them. It shall be an everlasting covenant with them. And I will set them in their land and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.

He was still speaking when, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.”


My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.


All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.


On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.


Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”
