11 Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.

Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations.


In the Lord all the offspring of Israel shall be justified and shall glory.”


And he said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”


Behold, my servant shall act wisely; he shall be high and lifted up, and shall be exalted.


Therefore I will divide him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong, because he poured out his soul to death and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and makes intercession for the transgressors.


By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people?


And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.


“Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.


even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”


And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.


Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.


When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.


And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.


so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.


He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.


For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,


But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.


My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.


The elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth, and not only I, but also all who know the truth,


Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Father’s Son, in truth and love.
