And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.


And Joseph provided his father, his brothers, and all his father’s household with food, according to the number of their dependents.


As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.


But he took his stand in the midst of the plot and defended it and killed the Philistines. And the Lord saved them by a great victory.


Great salvation he brings to his king, and shows steadfast love to his anointed, to David and his offspring forever.


You are my King, O God; ordain salvation for Jacob!
