Then his father Isaac said to him, “Come near and kiss me, my son.”


Now as soon as Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother’s brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother’s brother, Jacob came near and rolled the stone from the well’s mouth and watered the flock of Laban his mother’s brother.


As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he ran to meet him and embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his house. Jacob told Laban all these things,


But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.


Then Joseph hurried out, for his compassion grew warm for his brother, and he sought a place to weep. And he entered his chamber and wept there.


And he wept aloud, so that the Egyptians heard it, and the household of Pharaoh heard it.


Moses went out to meet his father-in-law and bowed down and kissed him. And they asked each other of their welfare and went into the tent.


The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.


Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
