And as midday passed, they raved on until the time of the offering of the oblation, but there was no voice. No one answered; no one paid attention.


And at the time of the offering of the oblation, Elijah the prophet came near and said, “O Lord, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word.


Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, obeying the voice of his word!

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,


About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God come in and say to him, “Cornelius.”


The next day, as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray.


And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands.


Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.


Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?


Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.”


And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode them: they wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire and of sulfur, and the heads of the horses were like lions’ heads, and fire and smoke and sulfur came out of their mouths.
