So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and brought great joy to all the brothers.


Then the brothers immediately sent Paul off on his way to the sea, but Silas and Timothy remained there.


Now while Paul was waiting for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him as he saw that the city was full of idols.


Now all the Athenians and the foreigners who lived there would spend their time in nothing except telling or hearing something new.


So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious.


After this Paul left Athens and went to Corinth.


When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia, Paul was occupied with the word, testifying to the Jews that the Christ was Jesus.


Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone,


When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.
