And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’


When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose,


And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man of Macedonia was standing there, urging him and saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.”


Now after several years I came to bring alms to my nation and to present offerings.


For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make some contribution for the poor among the saints at Jerusalem.


But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.


And when I was with you and was in need, I did not burden anyone, for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied my need. So I refrained and will refrain from burdening you in any way.


For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God.


for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them.


Otherwise, if some Macedonians come with me and find that you are not ready, we would be humiliated—to say nothing of you—for being so confident.


To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,


For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.


for that indeed is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more,
