Solomon loved the Lord, walking in the statutes of David his father, only he sacrificed and made offerings at the high places.


for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.


You have tried my heart, you have visited me by night, you have tested me, and you will find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.


Moses said to the Lord, “See, you say to me, ‘Bring up this people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.’


And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.”


“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”


“You only have I known of all the families of the earth; therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.


The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.


And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’


I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,


He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.


God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?


For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.


But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—


But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?


But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”


Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.


Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to those who love him?


Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,


We love because he first loved us.


Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.


“‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.


“‘I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.


“‘I know your tribulation and your poverty ( but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
