you in your great mercies did not forsake them in the wilderness. The pillar of cloud to lead them in the way did not depart from them by day, nor the pillar of fire by night to light for them the way by which they should go.


He spread a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light by night.


He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him,


He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.


But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.


Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.


and they will tell the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that you, O Lord, are in the midst of this people. For you, O Lord, are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.


And they set out from before Hahiroth and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and they went a three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I have often intended to come to you (but thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles.


For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.


He received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. The purpose was to make him the father of all who believe without being circumcised, so that righteousness would be counted to them as well,


Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be uninformed.


If anyone does not recognize this, he is not recognized.
