They do this to help them remember what they had seen happen to them. The Jews and all the people that join them celebrate these two days every year at the right time in just the right way. Every generation and every family remembers these two days. They celebrate this holiday in each and every province and in each and every town. And the Jews will never stop celebrating the days of Purim. The descendants {\cf2\super [31]} of those Jews will always remember this holiday.


Write these things for the future generation.\par And in the future, those people\par will praise the Lord.\par


Lord, people will praise you\par forever and ever for the things you do.\par They will tell about the great things you do.\par


Each generation will tell the children\par about the good things\par that God has done. {\cf2\super [136]} \par


See the tall walls.\par Admire Zion’s palaces.\par Then you can tell the next generation\par about it.\par


Now I am old and my hair is gray.But I know that you won’t leave me, God.I will tell each new generationabout your power and greatness.


Let your servants see the wonderful things\par you can do for them.\par And let their children see your glory.\par
