Why? Because the Lord stands by\par helpless people.\par God saves them from other people\par who try to condemn them to death.\par


Lord, you rescued me from my enemies.\par You helped me defeat the people\par who stood against me.\par You saved me from cruel men.\par


May the Lord answer your call for help\par when you have troubles.\par May the God of Jacob protect you.\par

You know the grace (kindness) of our Lord Jesus Christ. You know that Christ was rich \{with God\}, but for you he became poor. Christ did this so that you could become rich by his becoming poor.
