It is a waste of time\par to get up early and stay up late,\par trying to make a living.\par God cares for the people he loves,\par even while they are sleeping.\par


God, you help people who trust you—\par those people stand by your right side.\par So listen to this prayer\par from one of your followers.\par


God, you protected me\par and helped me win.\par You supported me with your right arm.\par You helped me defeat my enemy.\par


Now I know the Lord helps\par the king he chose!\par God was in his holy heaven,\par and he answered his chosen king.\par God used his great power to save the king.\par


They tell me:\par “Call to the Lord for help.\par Maybe he will save you.\par If he likes you so much,\par then surely he will rescue you!”\par


Only God can make us strong.\par Only God can defeat our enemies!\par


You let me see troubles and bad times.But you saved me from every one of themand kept me alive.No matter how deep I sank,you lifted me out of my troubles.


God, why did you punish us so hard?\par You used your great power\par and destroyed us completely!\par


I will always tell people about these things.\par I will sing praise to the God of Israel.\par


“Your right arm is amazingly strong. Lord, your right arm shattered the enemy.
