Job, your anger is only hurting yourself.\par Should people leave the earth\par just for you?\par Do you think God will move mountains\par just to satisfy you?\par


A foolish person’s anger will kill him.\par A fool’s strong emotions will kill him.\par


Yes, even when I was afraid and said,\par “All men are liars!”\par


I was afraid, and I said,\par “I am in a place where God can’t see me.”\par But I prayed to you, God,\par and you heard my loud prayers for help.\par


God, I wanted to talk to other people\par about these things.\par But I knew I would be betraying\par your people.\par


A patient person is very smart. A person who is easily angered shows that he is a fool.


It is better to be patient than to be a strong soldier. It is better to control your anger than to take control over a whole city.


Jonah was not happy that God saved the city. Jonah became angry.


But God said to Jonah, “Do you think it is right for you to be angry just because this plant died?”


When you become angry, don’t let that anger make you sin. And don’t continue to be angry all day.


But now put these things out of your life: anger, being very mad, doing or saying things to hurt other people, and using evil words when you talk.
