And I will prepare an agreement between you and me. This agreement will also be for all your descendants. This agreement will continue forever. I will be your God and the God of all your descendants.


He wanders here and there,\par but his body will be food for the vultures.\par He knows that his death {\cf2\super [28]} is very near.\par


Job, think about this:\par No innocent person was ever destroyed.\par Good people are never destroyed.\par


Let them lose their home\par and become beggars.\par


His descendants {\cf2\super [579]} will be great on earth.\par The descendants of good people\par will be truly blessed.\par


That person will enjoy good things,\par and his children will keep the land \{God promised to give him\}.\par


The Lord loves fairness.\par He will not leave his followers\par without help.\par The Lord will always protect his followers,\par but he will destroy wicked people.\par


They will look for something to eat,\par but they will find no food\par and no place to sleep.\par


Now I am old and my hair is gray.But I know that you won’t leave me, God.I will tell each new generationabout your power and greatness.


Don’t throw me away just because I am old.Don’t leave me as I lose my strength.


The Lord will not leave his people.\par He will not leave them without help.\par


A good person will have wealth to give to his children and grandchildren. And in the end, good people will get all the things that evil people have.


Everything in their houses will be stolen. Their wives will be raped. And their little children will be beaten to death while the people are watching.


Some of the followers \{of Jesus\} from Caesarea went with us. These followers took us to the home of Mnason, a man from Cyprus. Mnason was one of the first people to be a follower \{of Jesus\}. They took us to his home so that we could stay with him.


We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed.


Keep your lives free from the love of money. And be satisfied with the things you have. God has said,


I will be with you the same as I was with Moses. No person will be able to stop you all your life. I will not abandon you. I will never leave you.


“But the Lord won’t leave his people. No, the Lord was pleased to make you his own people. So, for his own good name, he won’t leave you.
