Then David praised the Lord in front of all of the people who were gathered together. David said:


God satisfies the thirsty soul.\par God fills the hungry soul with good things.\par


I will give the Lord the things I promised.\par I will go in front of all his people now.\par


I will give the Lord the things I promised.\par I will go in front of all his people now.\par


Lord, I told about the good things you did.\par I did not hide those things in my heart.\par Lord, I told people they can depend\par on you to save them.\par I did not hide your kindness and loyalty\par from the people in the assembly.\par


But let those people that come to you\par be happy and rejoice.\par They love being saved by you.\par So let them always say,\par “Praise the Lord!” {\cf2\super [253]} \par


So bring your thank offerings {\cf2\super [301]} \par \{to share with the other worshipers\}\par and come to be with God.\par You made promises to God Most High,\par so give him the things you promised.\par


Poor people, you came to worship God.\par You will be happy to know these things.\par


At that time, the Lord All-Powerful will give a feast for all the people on this mountain. At the feast, there will be the best foods and wines. The meat will be tender and good.


So the Lord my Master said these things.\par “My servants will eat,\par but you evil people will be hungry.\par My servants will drink,\par but you evil people will be thirsty.\par My servants will be happy,\par but you evil people will be shamed.\par


Then the Lord spoke to the fish. And the fish vomited Jonah out of its stomach onto the dry land.


But the person that drinks the water I give will never be thirsty again. That water I give will become like a spring of water flowing inside that person. That water will bring that person life forever.”
