The Lord made everything in every place.\par God rules everything in every place.\par And all those things should praise the Lord!\par My soul, praise the Lord!\par


Lord, you have done many wonderful things.\par The earth is full of the things you made.\par \{We see\} your wisdom in everything\par you do.\par


God’s followers, rejoice in your victory!\par Even after going to bed, be happy.\par


The heavens speak about God’s glory.\par The skies tell about the good things\par his hands have made.\par


Praise the Lord, all you people who worship him!\par Show honor to the Lord, you descendants {\cf2\super [133]} of Israel!\par Fear and respect the Lord,\par all you people of Israel.\par


God’s followers, sing praises to the Lord!\par Praise his holy name! {\cf2\super [182]} \par


God was angry,\par so the decision was “death.”\par But he showed his love,\par and gave me “life.”\par At night,\par I lay crying.\par The next morning,\par I was happy and singing!\par


Good people, rejoice\par and be very happy in the Lord.\par All you people with pure hearts, rejoice!\par


My Master, I praise you to everyone.\par I sing songs of praise about you to every nation.\par

Good people, be happy in the Lord!\par Honor his holy name!\par


The skies are happy because the Lord did great things.\par The earth is happy, even deep down under the earth!\par The mountains sing with thanks to God.\par All the trees in the forest are happy!\par Why? Because the Lord saved Jacob.\par The Lord did great things for Israel.\par


So through Jesus we should never stop offering our sacrifice to God. That sacrifice is our praise, coming from lips that speak his name.


You also are like living stones. God is using you to build a spiritual temple. {\cf2\super [14]} You are to serve God in that temple as holy {\cf2\super [15]} priests. You are to give spiritual sacrifices {\cf2\super [16]} to God that he will accept because of Jesus Christ.


But you are chosen people. You are the King’s priests. You are a holy {\cf2\super [20]} nation of people. You are people who belong to God. God chose you to tell about the wonderful things he has done. He called (brought) you out of darkness (sin) into his wonderful light.
