Then Israel said to Joseph, “I never thought I would see your face again. But look! God has let me see you and your children.”


During Joseph’s life, Ephraim had children and grandchildren. And his son Manasseh had a son named Makir. Joseph lived to see Makir’s children.


So, Job lived for 140 years more. He lived to see his children, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, and his great-great-grandchildren.


Evil people do crooked things.\par The Lord will punish those evil people.\par


Grandchildren make old people happy. And children are proud of their parents.


The Lord says,\par “Look, I will give you peace.\par This peace will come flowing to you\par like a great river.\par Wealth from all the nations on earth\par will come flowing to you.\par That wealth will come like a flood.\par \{You will be like little babies\}.\par You will drink that ‘milk’ (wealth)\par I will pick you up,\par hold you in my arms,\par and bounce you on my knees.\par


to tell the Good News {\cf2\super [6]} about his Son (Jesus) to the non-Jewish people. So God let me see and learn about his Son. When God called me, I did not get advice or help from any person.
