My friend speaks for me\par while my eyes pour out tears to God.\par


Lord, take away the shame I fear.\par Your wise decisions are good.\par


Then I will have an answer\par for people who insult me.\par I really trust the things you say, Lord.\par


If you trust the Lord and do good things,\par you will live and enjoy the many things\par that the land gives.\par


Let your goodness and fairness\par shine like the sun at noon.\par


Lord, save me from the bad things I did.\par Don’t let me be treated like a fool.\par


My enemy constantly insults me\par and strikes a deadly blow\par when he asks me,\par “Where is your God?\par \{Has he come to save you yet?\}”\par


So we should go to Jesus outside the camp. We should accept the same shame that Jesus had.


But if you are punished for doing wrong, there is no reason to praise you for bearing that punishment. But if you suffer for doing good, and you are patient, then that pleases God.

David heard that Nabal was dead. David said, “Praise the Lord! Nabal said bad things about me, but the Lord supported me. The Lord kept me from doing wrong. And the Lord caused Nabal to die because he did wrong.”
