Now, our God, we thank you,\par And we praise your glorious name!\par


Then David said to all the group of people gathered together, “Now give praise to the Lord your God.” So all the people gave praise to the Lord God, the God their ancestors {\cf2\super [325]} worshiped. They bowed to the ground to give honor to the Lord and to the king.


Here we are,\par standing at the gates of Jerusalem.\par


That is where the family groups go.\par The people of Israel go there\par to praise the Lord’s name.\par They are the family groups\par that belong to the Lord\par


God on Zion, {\cf2\super [375]} I praise you.\par I give you the things I promised.\par


Let’s sing songs of thanks to the Lord.\par Let’s sing happy songs of praise to him.\par


Sing to the Lord!\par Bless his name!\par Tell the good news!\par Tell about him saving us every day!\par


Praise the Lord’s name.\par Get your offerings,\par and go to the temple.\par


Let all the people praise your name.\par God’s name is awesome.\par God is holy.\par


God will make his people free! And those people will come back to him. The people will be happy when they come into Zion. {\cf2\super [333]} The people will be happy forever. Their happiness will be like a crown on their heads. Their gladness and joy will fill them completely. Sorrow and sadness will be gone far, far away.


So through Jesus we should never stop offering our sacrifice to God. That sacrifice is our praise, coming from lips that speak his name.
