How long will you forget me, Lord?\par Will you forget me forever?\par How long will you refuse to accept me? {\cf2\super [72]} \par


Lord, get up {\cf2\super [92]} and go to the enemy.\par Make them surrender.\par Use your sword and save me\par from the bad people.\par


God, you help people who trust you—\par those people stand by your right side.\par So listen to this prayer\par from one of your followers.\par


Lord, get up! {\cf2\super [10]} \par My God, come rescue me!\par \{You are very strong!\}\par If you hit my bad enemies on the cheek,\par you will break all their teeth.\par


Lord, get up {\cf2\super [37]} and show your anger!\par My enemy is angry,\par so stand and fight against him.\par Lord, get up and demand fairness!\par


Don’t let those wild animals take your dove!\par Don’t forget your poor people forever.\par

The Lord remembered the people who\par went to him for help. {\cf2\super [50]} \par Those poor people cried for help.\par And the Lord didn’t forget them.\par


\{I said this prayer to God:\}\par “Lord, be kind to me.\par Look, my enemies are hurting me.\par Save me from the ‘gates of death.’\par


Lord, get up {\cf2\super [53]} and judge the nations.\par Don’t let people think they are powerful.\par


You are the judge of the whole earth.\par Give proud people the punishment they deserve.\par


But Lord, get ready to punish those people.\par Surely they will see it, won’t they?\par Lord, show the evil people the strong love {\cf2\super [241]} \par that you have for your people.\par Surely the evil people will be ashamed.\par Surely your enemies will be burned\par in their own fire (evil).\par


The Lord says, “Now, I will stand and show my greatness. Now, I will become important to the people.


You will lift your hand against your enemies,\par and you will destroy them.\par


Then Samson said a prayer to the Lord. He said, “Lord All-Powerful, remember me. God, please give me strength one more time. Let me do this one thing to punish these Philistines for tearing out my two eyes!”
