Listen! Wisdom {\cf2\super [2]} is trying to teach people. She (Wisdom) is shouting in the streets and in the market place.


“You are foolish people. How long will you continue doing foolish things? How long will you make fun of wisdom? How long will you continue to hate knowledge?


Listen! Wisdom and Understanding\par are calling for you to listen.\par


They are near the gates of the city.\par They are calling out from the open doors.\par


And then she sent her servants to town to invite people to come up to the hill in the city \{and eat with her\}. She said,


I tell you these things in the dark (secretly). But I want you to tell these things in the light. I speak these things quietly and only to you. But you should tell these things freely to all people.


Many, many people gathered around Jesus. So Jesus got into a boat and sat down. All the people stayed on the shore.


Jesus answered, “I have always spoken openly to all people. I always taught in the synagogues {\cf2\super [232]} and in the temple {\cf2\super [233]} area. All the Jews come together there. I never said anything in secret.


“Go and stand in the temple {\cf2\super [92]} yard. Tell the people everything about this new life \{in Jesus\}.”
