The servant bowed and worshiped the Lord.


May the Lord God of Israel\par be praised forever\par as he has been praised forever!\par


Then David praised the Lord in front of all of the people who were gathered together. David said:


Then David said to all the group of people gathered together, “Now give praise to the Lord your God.” So all the people gave praise to the Lord God, the God their ancestors {\cf2\super [325]} worshiped. They bowed to the ground to give honor to the Lord and to the king.


Jehoshaphat bowed down low. His face touched the ground. And all the people of Judah and the people living in Jerusalem fell down in front of the Lord. And they all worshiped the Lord.

These men from the family group of Levi taught the people about the Law as they were all standing there. Those Levites were: Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, and Pelaiah.


Servants, lift your arms\par and bless the Lord.\par


Lord, accept my prayer.\par Let it be like a gift of burning incense.\par Let it be like the evening sacrifice. {\cf2\super [641]} \par


\{Lord,\} I raise my arms and pray toward your Most Holy Place. {\cf2\super [169]} \par Hear me when I call to you.\par Show mercy to me.\par


Bless the Lord, God of Israel!\par He always was,\par and he always will be.\par


Yes, I will praise you in my life.\par In your name, I lift my arms in prayer.\par


Why? Because the Lord is a great God!\par He is the Great King ruling over\par all the other “gods.”\par

The people believed that God had sent Moses. The people of Israel knew that God had seen their troubles, and that he had come to help them. So they bowed down and worshiped God.


Jeremiah said to Hananiah, “Amen! {\cf2\super [220]} I hope the Lord will really do that! I hope the Lord will make the message you preach come true. I hope the Lord will bring the things of the Lord’s temple {\cf2\super [221]} back to this place from Babylon. And I hope the Lord will bring all the people that were forced to leave their homes back to this place.


Let us lift up our hearts and our hands\par to the God of heaven.\par


Fire came out from the Lord and burned the burnt offering and fat on the altar. [114] When all the people saw this, they shouted and bowed their faces low to the ground.

You might be praising God with your spirit. But a person there without understanding cannot say “Amen {\cf2\super [98]} ” to your prayer of thanks. Why? Because he does not know what you are saying.


Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in heaven.


I want men everywhere to pray. These men who lift up their hands in prayer must be pleasing to God. They must not be men who become angry and have arguments.


Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God has great mercy, and because of his mercy he gave us a new life. This new life brings us a living hope through Jesus Christ’s rising from death.


The elders {\cf2\super [55]} and the four living things were there. All the angels were standing around them and the throne. The angels bowed down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God.
