But even darkness is not dark to you, Lord,\par The night is as bright as day to you.\par


You have looked deep into my heart.\par You were with me all night.\par You questioned me\par and found nothing wrong.\par I didn’t plan any bad thing.\par


Surely, God knows these things.\par He knows even our deepest secrets.\par


If you do this, then you will make him ashamed. It is like putting burning coals on his head. And the Lord will reward you because you were good to your enemy.


But I am the Lord,\par and I can look into a person’s heart.\par I can test a person’s mind.\par I can decide what each person should have.\par I can give each person the right payment\par for the things he does.\par


A person might try to hide from me\par in some hiding place.\par But it is easy for me to see him.\par Why? Because I am everywhere\par in heaven and earth!”\par The Lord said these things.\par


If any person helps one of these little ones because they are my followers, then that person will truly get his reward. That person will get his reward even if he only gave my follower a cup of cold water.”


Then people will not know that you are fasting. But your Father that you cannot see will see you. Your Father sees the things that are done in secret. And he will reward you.


So when you give to poor people, give very secretly. Don’t let any person know what you are doing.


When you pray, you should go into your room and close the door. Then pray to your Father. He is there in that secret place. Your Father can see the things that are done in secret. And he will reward you.


Then you will have great blessings, because these people cannot pay you back. They have nothing. But God will reward you at the time when good people rise from death.”


Everything that is hidden will become clear. Every secret thing will be made known, and everyone will see it.


So don’t judge before the right time; wait until the Lord comes. He will shine light on the things that are hidden in darkness. He will make known the secret purposes of people’s hearts. Then God will give every person the praise he should get.


Nothing in all the world can be hidden from God. He can clearly see all things. Everything is open before him. And to him we must explain the way we have lived.


I will also kill her followers. Then all the churches will know that I am the One who knows what people feel and think. And I will repay each of you for the things you have done.
