3 And in the morning you watch the sunrise. If the sky is dark and red, then you say that it will be a rainy day. These things are signs of the weather. You see these signs in the sky and you know what they mean. In the same way, you see the things that are happening now. These things are also signs. But you don’t know the meaning of these signs.

Blind people are able to see again; crippled people are able to walk again; people that have leprosy {\cf2\super [131]} are healed; deaf people can hear again; dead people are raised from death; and the Good News {\cf2\super [132]} is told to the poor people.


You are hypocrites {\cf2\super [205]} ! Isaiah was right when he spoke about you. Isaiah said:


But Jesus knew that these men were trying to trick him. So he said, “You hypocrites {\cf2\super [308]} ! Why are you trying to catch me saying something wrong?


“It will be bad for you teachers of the law and Pharisees. {\cf2\super [333]} You are hypocrites. {\cf2\super [334]} You close the way for people to enter the kingdom of heaven. You yourselves don’t enter, and you stop the people that are trying to enter.


Jesus went everywhere in the country of Galilee. Jesus taught in the synagogues {\cf2\super [54]} and told the Good News about the kingdom of heaven. And Jesus healed all the people’s diseases and sicknesses.


You are a hypocrite. {\cf2\super [82]} First, take the wood out of your own eye. Then you will see clearly to take the dust out of your brother’s eye.


It will be bad for you, because you are like hidden graves. People walk on them without knowing it.”


You hypocrites {\cf2\super [231]} ! You can understand the weather. Why don’t you understand what is happening now?


The Lord (Jesus) answered, “You people are hypocrites {\cf2\super [238]} ! All of you untie your work animals and lead them to drink water every day—even on the Sabbath day {\cf2\super [239]} !


We have a great high priest {\cf2\super [35]} who has gone to live with God in heaven. He is Jesus the Son of God. So let us continue strongly in the faith we have.
