David said, “What should I do with you, sons of Zeruiah? Today you are against me. No person will be put to death in Israel. Today I know I am king over Israel.”


Job answered his wife, “You talk like a foolish woman! God gives us good things, and we accept them. So we should also accept trouble \{and not complain\}.” All these things happened. But Job did not sin. He did not speak against God.


A good person can correct me.\par That would be kind of him.\par Your followers can criticize me.\par It would be good for them to do that.\par I would accept that.\par But I will always pray against\par the bad things those bad people do.\par


“You must not hate your brother in your heart. If your neighbor does something wrong, then talk to him about it. But forgive him!


But Jesus did not answer the woman. So the followers came to Jesus and begged him, “Tell the woman to go away. She is following us and shouting.”


Then Jesus said to Peter, “Go away from me, Satan {\cf2\super [234]} ! You are not helping me! You don’t care about the things of God. You only care about things that people think are important.”


Jesus said to the devil, “Go away from me, Satan! It is written \{in the Scriptures {\cf2\super [52]} \},


Then Jesus looked at those people sitting around him. He said, “These people are my mother and my brothers!


Jesus looked at the people. He was angry. But he felt very sad because they were stubborn. Jesus said to the man, “Let me see your hand.” The man put his hand out for Jesus, and it was healed.


Then the Lord (Jesus) turned and looked into Peter’s eyes. And Peter remembered what the Lord had said: “Before the rooster crows in the morning, you will say three times that you don’t know me.”


Jesus answered, “It is written \{in the Scriptures {\cf2\super [63]} \}:

Then give this man to Satan (the Devil), so that his sinful self {\cf2\super [28]} will be destroyed. Then his spirit can be saved on the day of the Lord.


The way these people live is leading them to destruction. They don’t serve God. Those people live only to please themselves. They do shameful things, and they are proud of those things. They think only about earthly things.


Tell those who sin that they are wrong. Do this in front of the whole church. In that way the others will have a warning.


The words that prophet said are true. So tell those people that they are wrong. You must be strict with them. Then they will become strong in the faith.


Christ suffered while he was in his body. So you should strengthen yourselves with the same kind of thinking Christ had. The person who has suffered in his body is finished with sin.


Don’t love this evil world or the things in it. If a person loves the world, the love of the Father (God) is not in that person.


“I correct and punish those people that I love. So start trying hard! Change your hearts and lives!
