31 Then Jesus left the area around Tyre and went through Sidon. Jesus went to Lake Galilee. Jesus went through the area of the Ten Towns. {\cf2\super [92]}
31 Soon after this, Jesus, coming back from the region of Tyre, passed through Sidon on to the Sea of Galilee, through the region of Decapolis [the ten cities].
Jesus said, “It will be bad for you Chorazin. {\cf2\super [145]} It will be bad for you Bethsaida. {\cf2\super [146]} I did many miracles in you. If those same miracles had happened in Tyre and Sidon, {\cf2\super [147]} then those people in Tyre and Sidon would have changed their lives a long time ago. Those people would have worn sackcloth {\cf2\super [148]} and put ashes on themselves to show that they were sorry for their sins.
Jesus was walking by Lake Galilee. He saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Simon’s brother Andrew. The two brothers were fishermen and they were fishing in the lake with a net.
Many, many people followed Jesus. These people were from Galilee, the Ten Towns, {\cf2\super [57]} Jerusalem, Judea, and the area across the Jordan River.
Jesus left that place and went to the area around Tyre. Jesus went into a house there. Jesus did not want the people in that area to know he was there. But Jesus could not stay hidden.
