The Lord says, “I will bring those people to my holy mountain. I will make them happy in my house of prayer. The offerings and sacrifices they give me will please me. Why? Because my temple {\cf2\super [439]} will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”


People will collect all the sheep from Kedar\par and give them to you.\par They will bring you rams from Nebaioth.\par You will offer those animals on my altar.\par And I will accept them.\par I will make my wonderful temple {\cf2\super [452]} \par even more beautiful.\par


This temple {\cf2\super [58]} is called by my name! Is this temple nothing more to you than a hideout for robbers? I have been watching you.’” This message is from the Lord.


“Jacob {\cf2\super [133]} is a real businessman. He even cheats his friend! Even his scales {\cf2\super [134]} lie.


Jesus refused to allow any person to carry things through the temple area.


Jesus said, “It is written \{in the Scriptures {\cf2\super [306]} \}, ‘My house will be a house of prayer.’ {\cf2\super [307]} But you have changed it into a ‘hiding place for thieves.’ {\cf2\super [308]} ”


In Jerusalem Jesus went to the temple. {\cf2\super [39]} In the temple area Jesus saw men selling cattle, sheep, and doves. Jesus saw other men sitting at tables. These men were exchanging and trading people’s money.


Then Jesus said to the men that were selling pigeons, “Take these things out of here! Don’t make my Father’s house a place for buying and selling!”
